Military looty shooter games seem to be ten-a-penny these days, but Ghost Recon Breakpoint is probably the only one that lets you fire a rocket launcher straight into the perfectly chiselled cheekbones of Jon ‘The Punisher’ Bernthal. Before you equip your favourite sniper rifle and your bestest legendary beanie hat to take him on, though, you’ll need to make sure your PC is in tip-top condition to give you the smoothest, fastest performance so you can gaze lovingly upon that arcing dust cloud leading directly to his carefully coiffed stubble.
You see, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a bit of a beast to get running on PC, so I’ve been testing a bunch of today’s best graphics cards with it to see what kind of performance you can expect to see across all sorts of different resolutions and quality settings, as well as how to give your frame rate a good old shot in the arm by tweaking its various settings.
