Compressibility, the invisible elevator-clasping air elemental that prevented many pilots from pulling out of high-speed dives during WW2, is now modelled in IL-2. Yesterday’s 3.007 update also added new Battle of Bodenplatte and Flying Circus flyables (P-47D-28, Bf 109 K-4, Sopwith Camel and Pfalz D.IIIa) and enriched careers with three new sortie types. Fighter pilots will now be sent on ‘Free Hunts’ from time to time, Ju 52 jockeys on cargo and Fallschirmjäger paradrops.
