Cyberpunk 2077 has two more teams working on multiplayer and a mysterious Cyberthing

While Cyberpunk 2077 as we know it is a singleplayer RPG, reports of recent comments from CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński say that multiplayer is still coming in some way, along with some other thing. It seems like Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a multiplayer mode, while the other Cyberthing sounds more like a new game. Or an expansion. Or an expandalone? A thing. It’s all a little too hazy at this point, more plans and hints than anything specific. But I would very much like to take a long stroll Night City with a pal.

Pigeon Simulator will let you crap on businessmen

Sorry buisnessfolk. That headline is needlessly inflammatory, a pointlessly provocative goad towards the fine men and women who keep our economy ticking. You CAN crap on them in Bossa Studio’s freshly announced Pigeon Simulator, though. As well as pelt them with skateboards and explode their cars.

Chinese publisher Indievent lose their business license after Devotion pooh furore

The tragic tale of Red Candle’s horror game Devotion only gets sadder. Originally pulled from stores after it was discovered to contain a joking comparison between Winnie The Pooh and Chinese president (and Winnie The Pooh lookalike) Xi Jinping. Now it appears it has cost its Chinese publisher everything. As shared via Twitter by Iain Garner of Another Indie and confirmed by PCGamesN, the Chinese government has revoked the business license of the game’s Chinese publisher Indievent. While Devotion isn’t explicitly mentioned, it is stated that Indievent broke “relevant” laws.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers steps into the light today

Thanks to its international nature and the magic of time-zones, Final Fantasy XIV‘s third expansion, Shadowbringers, is out now, defying its listed July 2nd release date. It’s a massive chunk of new story for the MMO-JRPG, this time taking a break from Eorzean politics to drop players into a post-apocalyptic parallel world. Here, the sky always glows with holy light and carnivorous angels prey on the few enclaves of survivors; a bit grim, then. Players who pre-ordered got a few days of early access, but now it’s open to all. From the bit I’ve played, it’s more of a good thing.

Hearthstone: Saviors Of Uldum makes me wish World Of Warcraft was as silly

Has it really been three months since the last Hearthstone expansion? It feels like it was days ago. The next expansion for Blizzard’s popular CCG will be Saviours Of Uldum, due on August 6th, and it looks like they’re doubling down on the Saturday morning cartoon antics of Rise Of Shadows. They’re unearthing the League Of Explorers from the now-defunct adventure and making them the stars of the show for a few months, and heading to fantasy Egypt to battle villainy. Below, a tongue-in-cheek announcement trailer, in which is nestled an extremely silly theme song.
