Torment: Tides Of Numenera Coming In 2016

Torment: Tides of Numenera [official site] has never been given a firm release date, though vague, smooshy plans have bounced the RPG from December 2014 to the first half of 2015, then the final quarter of 2015, and, now, into 2016. Developers inXile Entertainment have announced that they’re looking at next year for their crowdfunded spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, as they want to, you know, make it good and not rush it out. Batman: Arkham Knight – Warner Bros Offer Full Refunds For Steam PC Version

Warner Bros have announced they will offer a full refund to Steam owners of their troubled PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight [official site].

Huh, there you go. The rest of the vid shares a lot of new information about French outfit Spiders’ upcoming game, with a focus on combat.

I wouldn’t normally pass comment on how a promo trailer is voiced, but there’s something weirdly hypnotic about how this one’s narrated:

The Sunday Papers

Sundays are for football, whether watching it or controlling it in the Football Manager 2016 beta. Before the pitch claims us, let’s round up the week’s best games writing.

  • John Sharp has been co-chair of Indiecade for the last six years, helping to plan and diversify the indie games conference’s talks. He wrote this past week about the challenge of building sustainable diversity, and why he no longer feels conferences are a method of doing so:
