I have come to a conclusion regarding weekends. They are clearly not times when everyone is off work and gets to lark about and play games as they please, right? And it sucks to have people talk about how great the weekend is when you yourself are working, yes? So: if you don’t work weekends, any time to talk up weekend to people who are themselves working, they may demand that you sing Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 right there and then. I couldn’t rightly explain why but that seems fair.
